Cops bust car theft syndicate, three people arrested


KUALA LUMPUR: Police busted a car theft syndicate with the arrest of three men, including two Myanmar nationals in an operation at a warehouse in Sungai Buloh.

Following the arrest of the suspects last Friday, Federal Criminal Intelligence Operations Unit principal assistant director Senior Asst Comm Abd Manaf Abd Razak said police had solved at least 17 cases in relation to car thefts in Kuala Lumpur, Prai, Karak and Jerantut.
