Chinese applicant inspired by cops 'doing deeds'

KUALA LUMPUR: The Chinese community is responding positively to a month-long police initiative to increase their number in the force.

The programme, including lowering entry qualifications, was launched by City police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Seri Moh­mad Salleh at the AEON shopping centre in Kepong yesterday and was attended by a few hundred people.
