KUALA LUMPUR: The family of Customs assistant director Ahmad Sarbaini Mo­­hamed who died in custody three years ago has filed a RM8mil suit against the Government, Malaysian Anti-Cor­ruption Commission (MACC) and seven others.

His widow Masiah @ Maziah Manap filed the civil suit at the High Court yesterday over his alleged assault, battery and mental torture, and for misfeasance of public office and negligence.
