THE Home Ministry has ensured that prison authorities are briefed on the Prevention of Crime (Amendment and Extension) Act 2013, which allows suspected criminals to be detained without trial for two years, said its deputy minister Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
The Act will be gazetted today and be enforced from tomorrow.
