PKR polls: Decision to defend president post was to preserve party’s interest, says Wan Azizah

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (pic) said her shocking decision on Saturday to defend her post as PKR president was to preserve the party’s interests and future if for some reason her husband could not contest.

She alleged that it was not impossible for those from Umno and Barisan Nasional to once again deny Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s democratic right to contest and hold the post as PKR president.
