PETALING JAYA: PKR leaders have defended Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's candidacy for the president's post, despite the possibility that his pending appeal for a sodomy conviction may be quashed.
Incumbent vice-president N. Surendran (pic) said Anwar had every right to contest for the post as it was allowed in the party's constitution.
