Balingian by-election: BN expects 70% turnout after intensive campaign

MUKAH: Voter turnout for the Balingian by-election should exceed 70%, Barisan Nasional's campaign director Datuk Seri Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad Abdullah predicted Saturday.

"I'm confident turnout today will exceed the previous one," Toyad told The Star, after casting his vote at SK St Patrick here, the largest polling centre in this by-election, with 1,323 registered to cast their votes here.
