JOHOR BARU: Police are calling on the Chinese community to come forward and join the force as the ethnic group only made up 1.61% of the 9,000 policemen statewide.
Johor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Ismail Yatim said the police force is targeting to recruit some 5,000 Chinese officers nationwide by this year.
