MH370 crash: Families in Beijing protest, demand ‘direct proof’

BEIJING: The committee here representing family members of Chinese passengers on MH370 has conveyed its "strongest protest and condemnation" to Malaysia Airlines, the Malaysian government and Malaysian military, following Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s announcement late Monday that the aircraft ended its journey in the southern Indian Ocean.

Talking to the reporters here early Tuesday, one of the committee members read from a statement, claiming that Najib made the announcement without "any direct proof".
