Cops step in to settle bickering over bracelet

POLICE in Shenzen had to be called in to settle a family squabble over a jade bracelet, claimed to be worth RMB100mil (RM50mil), reported Kwong Wah Yit Poh.

It was not the first time that the police had to settle the dispute among the siblings. According to the eldest sister, their third sister had kept the bracelet after their mother died in 2011. She accused the sister’s husband of selling the bracelet although the man had denied it. Police asked the family to seek legal advice to settle the dispute.
