Missing MH370: Search area now as big as Australia, says Hisham

SEPANG: Malaysia said the search for the missing MH370 flight now encompassed an area slightly larger than the entire land mass of Australia, according to an AFP report. 

"The entire search area is now 2.24 million square nautical miles (7.7 million square kilometres)," said acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein at a daily press briefing at Sama-Sama Hotel here on Tuesday.
