I didn't say I was sent by ex-PM, claims businessman

KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman Datuk Shamsubahrin Ismail denied telling former National Feedlot Corporation (NFCorp) executive chairman Datuk Dr Mohamad Salleh Ismail that he was sent by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to assist NFCorp when they met at Sid’s Pub in Bukit Tunku in November 2011.

Shamsubahrin, 48, was replying to a question by his counsel Hasnal Redzua Merican on testimony given previously by Dr Mohamad Salleh, who claimed that Shamsubahrin told him that the former was sent by Dr Mahathir to assist in the NFCorp issue.
