PETALING JAYA: The Department of Statistics is conducting a survey to gauge household income distribution and the economic well-being of the population.
The year-long survey is also being done to identify poverty margin and the expenditure data which, among others, is to be used to calculate the weighted Consumer Price Index – a proxy for measuring the country’s inflation rate.
