A heated affair on the cards in Parliament

The current hot dry spell is likely to set the tone for the Parliament’s first sitting of its second term tomorrow, with lawmakers from both sides of the political divide engaged in heated debates in and out of the halls of the Dewan Rakyat.

Besides tackling the changes to the proposed National Harmony Bill and the year-long April 1 countdown of the implementation of the goods and services tax in 2015, the coming Kajang by-election this March 23 is surely going to be the flavour of the month for lawmakers.
