PETALING JAYA: When the Daman­sara-Puchong Highway (LDP) was first planned, residents affected by it contacted then PJ Utara MP Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun for help and she got right down to it.

The MCA vice-president, who was MP between 1999 and 2008, was good at resolving local issues that affected the residents, said Daman­sara Utama Residents and Owners Association president Rajes Patel.
