PETALING JAYA: PKR vice-president Tian Chua is considering going for the deputy president's post in the May party elections.
Tian Chua, who is Batu MP, said he had not ruled out the possibility of going for the number two post but would only make a decision after the Mar 23 Kajang by-election.
“I’m considering because I want to serve the party and this is part of democracy.
“However, the focus now is to help Pakatan Rakyat win the Kajang by-election,” the 50-year-old told The Star Online.
Incumbent Azmin Ali has announced his intention to defend the post while Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has offered himself as a candidate.
