'Stern action will be taken against centre if children were abused'

JOHOR BARU: Stringent action will be taken if children were sexually and physically abused in a childcare centre here as alleged.

State Women and Family Affairs executive councillor Asiah Md Ariff said appropriate action would be taken if investigations found that the centre had been operating illegally and children under its care were neglected.
