Two million BR1M recipients do not have bank accounts

PONTIAN: About two million of the 7.9 million 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) recipients do not have a bank account, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan.

He urged them to open a bank account while those who with one should update theirs with relevant authorities to speed up the BR1M payment.
