KUALA LUMPUR: Al Jazeera International will be having a global day of action tomorrow to pressure the Egyptian government to release three of its journalists who were detained during massive protests in Cairo about three months ago.
A spokesman for the Doha-based international news network said thousands of its staff from all its broadcast centres and offices worldwide, including Malaysia, would stage an hour-long show of support for their detained colleagues.
