IPOH: Two suspects on a motorcycle hurled a helmet at a vehicle carrying the Orang Besar Jajahan (OBJ) Hilir Perak near the Kampar Health Clinic in Jalan Degong on Tuesday.

Perak CID chief Datuk Mohd Dzuraidi Ibrahim said the incident which occurred at 3.40pm damaged the front windscreen of the Honda CRV.

"While they were travelling along the road, the driver of the Honda CRV saw two men on a black Honda EX5 motorcycle bearing an unclear number plate on the right side of the road.

"One of the men hurled a helmet at the car, breaking the front windscreen," he told Bernama

He said the complainant informed police that he was unsure as to the cause of the incident as he had no problem with anyone while the OBJ had no enemies.

"It is the first such incident for him in the three years he worked with the OBJ. It is believed that the suspect randomly threw the helmet and no one has been suspected for it," he said.

The case is being investigated for causing mischief and damage. - Bernama
