PETALING JAYA: All negotiating countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement must fully support Malaysia’s proposal to totally exclude tobacco from the trade pact, said the South-East Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (Seatca).
It cautioned against agreeing to “alternative watered-down proposals” and complex alternatives to Malaysia’s proposal of a tobacco carve-out.
