KUALA LUMPUR: A bicycle shop mechanic, initially charged with attempting to kill his former girlfriend, now faces a murder rap.
The charge was amended yesterday from attempted murder to murder, which carries the mandatory death penalty, after Saliza Saidin, 29 died on Feb 1.
