PJ folk may experience dry taps due to burst pipe

PETALING JAYA: People in and around the city can expect dry taps today after Syabas was forced to shut the valve to a 900mm water pipe that burst along Persiaran Surian, near Mutiara Damansara’s Ikano Power Centre area yesterday.

A Syabas spokesman said contractors were working to fix the damaged pipe buried 5m under the road, and that water was expected to return in stages at around 6am.
