PETALING JAYA: An NGO has urged the Election Commission (EC) to set a variance of 10% within the electoral quotient for peninsula states, and 15% for Sabah and Sarawak, when it redraws the boundaries of parliamentary constituencies.
Wong Kuok Yong, a delimitation analyst with Tindak Malaysia said this was to address the issue of malapportionment in the whole of Malaysia.
