APEK, the nation’s No. 1 goalkeeper, is now the proud father of a little girl, Malay dailies reported.
The football star, whose real name is Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, 25, said he is not yet ready to meet the media to give more details about the child.
Wife Nur Eilunie Natasha Jaafar, 23, also known as Leuniey, gave birth to the 2.75kg girl at the Perdana Specialist Centre in Kota Baru at about 3pm on Monday, Kosmo! said.
Leuniey’s mother Nor Laila Abu Bakar, 42, said she was overjoyed at becoming a grandmother.
Apek and Leuniey, a boutique owner and former model of Muslimah clothing had tied the knot on Dec 28, 2012.

That evening, the female suspect surrendered herself and told the police the victim had been raped.
