PUTRAJAYA: A former lawyer was acquitted and discharged by the Court of Appeal here on Tuesday on a charge of committing criminal breach of trust (CBT) amounting to RM69,000 about 16 years ago.
A three-member panel chaired by Justice Datuk Linton Albert had allowed the appeal brought by Jeyapalan T.S. Mahesan, 60, to set aside his conviction and five-year jail term imposed by the High Court.
