MALACCA: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron has directed the members of local councils in Malacca to register at least 100 new voters annually before the 14th general election.
This would help increase the number of new voters in the state and educate the public about elections, he told reporters after the monthly assembly of civil servants at Seri Negeri here yesterday.
