PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) has welcomed the move by police to establish the dedicated Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) to counter the increasing number of drug syndicates.
MCPF vice-president Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said he was confident the unit would be effective against both local and international drug syndicates.
