PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be eligible to run for the Kajang by-election by changing his MyKad address to any location in Selangor, but he will not be able to vote in the poll, said the Election Commission (EC).

To cast a ballot at the by-election, Anwar will need to apply to the commission to change his voting address, a much lengthier process that can only be completed by May, said EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.
