Chua makes proposal to Perlis MB on MCA’s stand on local councillors

PETALING JAYA: Any reduction in the total number of local councillors should be done in a proportionate manner among all Barisan Nasional component parties, MCA vice-president Datuk Chua Tee Yong said.

He said this was a proposal he had made to Perlis Mentri Besar Azlan Man during their Friday discussion regarding MCA’s stand on the number of local councillors in the Kangar Municipal Council.
