PETALING JAYA: The Foreign Ministry defended its handling of the Malaysian couple remanded by Swedish police, adding that it was working to free them from the moment it happened.
“Since the first day of the arrest, the Ministry through the embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm has been fully involved in providing assistance to the accused couple in many different ways,” said Datin Nirvana Jalil Ghani, press secretary to Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman.
