KUALA LUMPUR: AV Asia Sdn Bhd has been ordered to pay more than RM1mil in security for costs to Astro’s operator Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (Measat) in respect of its counter-claim against Measat pending arbitration proceedings.
High Court (Commercial Division) judge Justice P. Nallini held yesterday that Measat’s security for costs on the basis of a reasonable assessment, justice and fairness of the case should be RM1,191,000.
