PETALING JAYA: The new National Automotive Policy (NAP), set to be announced Monday afternoon, is expected to see a relaxation of restrictions on foreign automakers from manufacturing small passenger cars, according to a Bloomberg report.
The previous policy only allowed for the manufacture of vehicles that had 1.8-litre or bigger engines.
