Mass Chinese New Year exodus begins in China


CHUN Yun, the Spring Festival travel season, also known as the largest annual human migration in the world, has begun in China.

The authorities estimated that some 3.6 billion people would be on the move between now and Feb 24, to return to their respective hometowns for the Chinese New Year reunion and back to the cities they work and study later, reported Sin Chew Daily.
