KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has set April 14 to hear a defamation suit filed by Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar against Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd.
The suit, filed by the PKR vice-president on Nov 23, 2012, pertained to various articles in the company’s publication Utusan Malaysia between Nov 5 and Nov 7 over her purported stand that the Malays were free to choose religions other than Islam as their faith.
