KUCHING: Wanita PBB has appointed a Muslim and a Christian as joint chairman of its religious bureau.
Its secretary, Nancy Shukri, said the appointment of Lingga assemblyman Simoi Peri (a Muslim) and Esther Balan (a Christian) was in line with efforts to preserve unity among the various races and religions in Sarawak.
