1,312 hit by floods get free school bags

KUANTAN: A total of 1,312 school students from the flood hit areas here received free bags and other school items to help them cope with the new school year.

The 1Malaysia People’s Foundation, with the cooperation of Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd, contributed items such as bags, stationery, clothes and socks to 667 students from Sekolah Menengah Ke­­­bangsaan (SMK) Sungai Isap Murni and another 645 students from SMK Sungai Isap.
