Clerk claims trial to RM96,000 CBT charges... 11 years after alleged offences


KUALA LUMPUR: A former clerk at an outsourcing company was charged with criminal breach of trust involving nearly RM100,000, more than a decade after the alleged offences occurred.

Syahrul Nizam, 36, claimed trial Thursday before the Sessions Court here to nine counts of CBT amounting to RM95,773.95, while in his capacity as a clerk in Epic-I Sdn Bhd, an outsourcing company for Bank Bumiputra Commerce Berhad (now known as CIMB Bank Berhad).
