SANDAKAN: Nineteen illegal immigrants from the Philippines who tried to enter Sabah at the Felda Sahabat in Lahad Datu have been detained under Ops Gasak.
“The illegal immigrants were detained after tip-offs from the public,” said Eastern Sabah Security Command director-general (Esscom) Datuk Mohammad Mentek.
