KUALA LUMPUR: No tax will be imposed on the withdrawal of savings from the Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) upon the investors reaching 55 years of age.
Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan said the 8% tax imposed for withdrawal before the age of 55 was to curb retirees from taking out their savings too early.
