PETALING JAYA: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has ask Selangor Government which has 30% stake in Kesas as well as Sprint and 20% stake in LDP to object to plans by Putrajaya to increase toll rates.

He said Selangor MB would raise the issue with the executive council on Wednesday.

"I have discussed the matter with Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim and he has agreed that Selangor will used it stakes in these highway concessionaires to reject the toll hikes.

"I reject the excuse by Barisan Nasional that the Government have no power to curb the toll hike," he said at the PKR HQ.

Anwar added that Khalid has also agreed to impose conditions on new highways, which are going to be built in the state.

These highways include DASH, KIDEX, SUKE and KLORR.
