KOTA KINABALU: More than 400 people in Sabah’s east coast Tawau district were left homeless when their adjoining wooden homes were destroyed in a fire.
The fire at the Kampung Hidayat squatter colony started about 9am yesterday spread quickly due to the hot weather. About 80 houses were gutted.
