GEORGE TOWN: The state government will be imposing a levy on hotel rooms beginning March 2014.
In his state budget 2014 speech during the state assembly, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said that the state government would be organising the Visit Penang Year from 2015 to 2017, which will require proper planning, huge investments and basic infrastructure.
