Traffic police preparing to take over AES next year


Eye on culprits: Besides detecting errant drivers, the Automated Enforcement System cameras will also assist the police in crime prevention.

KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic police are in the midst of preparatory training to take over the Automated Enforcement System (AES).

Acting Federal Traffic chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Fuad Abd Latiff said his department was currently in the transition phase to take control of the system by early next year.
