KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Rakyat has rejected an emergency motion to condemn the Coalition of Malaysian NGOs (Comango) for its demands to the United Nation Human Rights Council which were against the Federal Constitution and Islam.
Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee said although the issue was specific in nature and of public interest, there was no urgency to allow it to be debated as the issue had been widely discussed.
