KUALA LUMPUR: A record number of 88 aspirants, including two sons of former party leaders, are trying their luck for the 23 central working committee (CWC) seats in the MIC.
Sunther Subramaniam, the son of former MIC deputy president Tan Sri S. Subramaniam, and V.K.K. Rajasekaran, the son of former party information chief Datuk V.K.K. Theagarajan, are both seeking to continue the work of their famous fathers when they vie to be elected into the CWC at the party elections in Malacca on Saturday.
