KOTA KINABALU: A second dam is needed near the state’s capital to ensure sufficient water supply for Kota Kinabalu and nearby districts for the next 30 years.
Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan said the proposed dam at Kampung Kaiduan in Papar district would provide water to tens of thousands of people in the city as well as Tuaran, Penampang, Putatan and Papar districts.
