KUALA LUMPUR: His father came from humble beginnings but he wanted his children to have a sound education.

“He sacrificed so much for his children to ensure that we had a good education and were well taken care of,” said fashion designer Datuk Zang Toi of his father Toi Hun Eng, who passed away from old age on Wednesday. He was 87.
