KUALA LUMPUR: Pathologist Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand has allegedly been barred by the Thai government from becoming an expert witness in the civil suit trial filed by the family of the late Teoh Beng Hock against the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the Malaysian government.
Teoh's family lead counsel Gobind Singh Deo told High Court judge Justice Rosnaini Saub that Dr Pornthip had informed them that she was unable to attend the trial because of political interference.
