AN EMERGENCY motion brought by an Opposition MP to discuss the proposed increase in assessment rates by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) in the Dewan Rakyat was rejected by the Speaker.
The rejection was done on the grounds that the Standing Orders only allow for one emergency motion per day’s sitting.
